By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 474 of July 21, 2020, digital transformation is defined as one of the national development goals of Russia until 2030. This process is inextricably linked with another large-scale import substitution project being implemented in the country in the field of information and communication technologies.

The need for digital transformation based on domestic solutions is directly enshrined in the national program "Digital Economy". It is worth noting that the current geopolitical situation certainly contributes to the acceleration of this process, and the issue of ensuring information security is becoming one of the key ones. Thus, according to the statistics of recent cyberattacks provided by one of the leading Russian companies in the field of information security, large corporations and state organizations have become the main targets of attackers. A characteristic feature of these attacks was that in most cases the attackers did not request a ransom, although encryption is usually performed in order to make money on the attack. Obviously, other goals were pursued… 

In this context, the need to form a powerful consolidated platform for professional cooperation of all parties involved in the process: the government, domestic developers of hardware and software solutions, large public and private corporations, financial institutions, IT specialists and ordinary users, is significantly increasing. 

This year, the 26th International Exhibition of State Security "Interpolitex" will act as such a platform, the main agenda of which is the topic of digitalization and digital transformation in the interests of national security. Within the framework of the project, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, a specialized exposition and business program of the International Forum "Interpolitex: Digital Transformation of State Security" is being formed. The Forum is co-organized by FSBI "Svyazist".

The Exhibition and Forum will act as a link and an additional tool to strengthen the coordination of cooperation between federal executive authorities, key participants in the implementation of state programs and federal projects in the field of interdepartmental information interaction, improving information infrastructure, expanding the current methodology of digital transformation programs in order to improve the efficiency of the national security system. 

Two Deputy Prime Ministers, Mr. Yuri Borisov and Mr. Dmitriy Chernyshenko, are invited as key speakers of the event, which is held at the ground of Crocus Expo IEC from October 18 to 20 of this year. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, which includes the heads of the relevant departments of the Ministry for Digital Technology, Communication and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the relevant committees of the Federation Council and the State Duma, the Bank of Russia, Gazprombank JSC and a number of major industry organizations, is the Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, Mr. Alexander Shoitov.
